SALZEROVÁ, Michaela
The general framework of this work is an infliction of a present phenomenon ? McDonalization in Czech society. The theoretical part deals with McDonalization, as such, its causes, development and its consequences that can be found in our nearest surroundings. The first part of the work deals with the concepts prior to this like rationalization process, scientific management and the assembly line as Ritzer stated in his book The Mcdonaldization of Society. Furthermore I am focusing on the lifestyle and values which people have today. The paper tries to find and highlight the consequences arising from the contemporary life of mostly young people visiting McDonald´s and similar fast-food restaurants. It outlines projects seeking to change this trend and points to the risks that arise from this trend. In the next part of the work I identify the relationship of people eating in McDonald´s to the responsibility for the upbringing of children and youth, not only in healthy eating. I also present my own project that represents an ordinary devotee of this group, where I try to demonstrate the current state of society and the way of educating young people. In the conclusion of the work I point possible different lifestyles. And I also outline possible sources where you can find an inspiration for keeping and upbringing children.
